Teaching Assistants – Walney School

Required for September 2026

Walney School is looking for a number of skilled and enthusiastic individuals to work as Teaching Assistants. The successful candidates will work under the instruction and guidance of teaching and senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for students, and to assist teachers in the management of the students both inside and outside the classroom.

Salary: Pay Scale 5-11 £25,583 – £28,142 pro rata

Contract: Full Time (31 hours per week, Monday to Friday), term time only (39 weeks per year), Permanent posts
